Thy

we

Thee
in gratitude.
Description
This plant is a native
of China but it has been cultivated in India since long.
It is a very common large
deciduous shrub with heart-shaped leaves and a profusion of large,
handsome double flowers. The main flowering season is September-October
but blooms at other times as well when cooler and moister conditions
prevail.
The flowers are pure
white in the morning, turn pink and resemble a huge double rose,
and finally become deep pink.
Gardening
This handsome shrub doesn't
like full sun but grows well in half hade. It gives a lot of flowers
in constant succession and even the buds look lovely. What a blessing
we feel when a Grace flower unfolds and displays its full charm.
Even in large flower pots it can be successfully grown and provides
colour to the garden and joy to take the spectator.
The plant is not particular
in its soul requirement but care has to be taken of insect attacks.
Cuttings take root readily. Seeds can also be used.
The Divine Grace

"An absolute faith
and trust in the Grace is, in the last analysis, the Supreme Wisdom."
- The
Mother
"The more complete
your faith, sincerity and surrender, the more will grace and protection
be with you. And when the grace and protection of the Divine Mother
are with you, what is there that can touch you or whom need you
fear? A little of it even will carry you through all difficulties,
obstacles and dangers; surrounded by its full presence you can
go securely on your way because it is hers, careless of all menace,
unaffected by any hostility however powerful, whether from this
world or from worlds invisible. Its touch can turn difficulties
into opportunities, failure into success and weakness into unfaltering
strength. For the grace of the Divine Mother is the sanction of
the Supreme and now or tomorrow its effect is sure, a thing decreed,
inevitable and irresistible."
- Sri
Aurobindo
"It is only by
remaining perfectly peaceful and calm with an unshakable confidence
and faith in the Divine Grace that you will allow circumstances
to be as good as they can be. The very best happens always to
those who have put their entire trust in the Divine and in the
Divine alone."
*
"It is when all
seems lost that all can be saved. When you have lost confidence
in your personal power, then you should have faith in the Divine
Grace."
- The
Mother
